Our company was established in 2000 by James Kilowatt, who had a vision to produce a cost-effective hybrid automobile that was also affordable. Mr. Kilowatt took that vision to Speedville, Tennessee, and opened Amplified Motors. Once we had a track, our car, and a government guy with a clipboard to test our vehicles, we were on our way !
